About
Ana Cantu is a hydrologist and groundwater modeler. Her undergraduate degree is in Geosystems Engineering and Hydrogeology from the University of Texas at Austin and her graduate degree is in Hydrology from the Colorado School of Mines. Her work experience related to the hydrologic sciences includes interning at INTERA and working for BAS. Ana enjoys serving the community by tutoring math and science for middle school students in underserved communities.
In her spare time, she likes to go on hikes, bake desserts and attend concerts. Her favorite cake to make is tres-leches cake. She plays trumpet and kickboxes. She enjoys the beauty of Colorado and especially enjoys taking advantage of public parks and trails. She is also a practicing Catholic and enjoys going on pilgrimages. Some of her favorite places in Colorado include the Red Rocks Amphitheater and Mother Cabrini Shrine.
